ABOUT

Twilight Talismans was born out of a heartfelt desire to make bedtime a more peaceful and magical experience. When Ben + Oli noticed their son needed a little extra support in feeling at ease at night, they sought to create something that could bring him comfort and security in the dark. From this need, Twilight Talismans came to life… a collection of handcrafted charms designed to help children and neurodivergent individuals feel at ease.

As a neurodivergent family with sensory needs, the creative duo understood the importance of sensory support + emotional well-being. They wanted to go beyond simple bedtime companions and create something truly special, a mindful sculpture that encourages touch and sensory play. Each talisman is designed to be a tactile treasure, offering a soothing sensory experience that calms both body and mind, making it perfect for those seeking comfort through their hands as much as through their eyes and imagination.

Drawing on their artistic talents and love for storytelling, they imagined a world of whimsical creatures, each with its own magical story and protective abilities. These talismans aren’t just nighttime guardians: they’re interactive, sensory-rich companions that inspire play, imagination, and connection.

This 'Vancouver' based family-run creative team carefully handcrafts each talisman from sustainable North American sourced cherry wood, finishing them with eco-friendly paints and 100% Tung oil. Made with love in Canada, no two talismans are the same, just like the individuals who need them. Whether providing children with a glowing guardian or offering adults a grounding tool during the day or night, Twilight Talismans brings comfort when it’s needed most.

For them, Twilight Talismans is more than just a creative project - it’s a reflection of their own family journey. They are thrilled to share these magical companions with others and hope they bring the same sense of peace, sensory joy, and comfort that has filled their own home.
